Some time ago, Instagram experimented with displaying a non-fungible token (NFT)  on its IG feed. But this is only available to US NFT collectors who have purchased digital items and there is no charge for sharing collections on Instagram. Now, "See in AR Update" on Instagram will allow users to create new AR technology experiences. This will expand the ability for creators to display virtual objects and interact with the community. Users need to login to their digital wallet and then they will have  access to choose which NFT they want to share on Instagram. Simply, digital tokens can be displayed on social media platforms, where  users can experience real-world 3D objects. They can share their two-way NFT and feel ownership of their property.

Ideally, of course, it would be impossible to experience AR NFT in the real world. However, one can own NFT and blockchain technology in a physical environment. Once you're present, you can display NFTs in your profile and share them with your audience. The "view in AR option" will allow users to view the NFT through the app's camera. This will provide the next level of user interaction with augmented objects like virtual paintings, props, and more. Currently, the See in AR option is available to some Instagram creators and NFT collectors.

Ultimately, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg wants to make NFT and AR technology accessible to all consumers. He also plans to introduce NFT to Facebook. With the release of AR technology elements on Instagram, more people will be able to explore the metaverse. It is worth mentioning here that non-fungible tokens are an important part of the economic development of the metaverse. This virtual world exposure and expansion will spur the creativity of  people around the world. Let's see when Stickers and AR technology content will be made available to the  public and how they  create opportunities for NFT collectors and creators.
